Thank you for all the lovely comments

Life in France has been busy especially in the  summer with so many visitors. Lots of you have returned again and again so I'm sure we will enjoy the pleasure of seeing some familiar faces again this year.

We look forward to hearing from you when you are ready to book your trip.

Linsey and Simon from 'Shabby Chic Guernsey' visitors to Mille Fleurs Cottage

A special couple come along monthly to stay with us. They own a lovely shop in Guernsey called 'Shabby Chic' and come to France to buy antique furniture and take it back to be painted and lovingly restored ready to sell.

While they travel for 100's of miles to buy the furniture they do find time to do a bit of site seeing. Sometimes I get the opportunity to take them to some of my favourite places like the zoo! Please don't mention the zoo to them, as they  will tell you lies about me of taking them to the wrong one....ok so I did think I was taking them to the  zoo which I had been to before only to find I didn't recognise it when I got there. I didn't know there were two zoos not far from each other!!!!

ps No the nanny on the left isn't Simons wife Linsey!
